Douglas E. Fears, CFO Helmerich & Payne, ORU Board of Trustees

 
Doug Fears is coming to share his story this Friday at 6:30am at Nordaggios Coffee Shop located at 81st and Lewis in the Plaza Shopping Center, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
 
Doug Fears joined Helmerich & Payne, Inc., a NYSE-listed, Tulsa-based contract drilling company in 1986 as an internal auditor and has been CFO since 1988. In addition, Fears is co-founder and president of Joseph's Storehouse, a nonprofit evangelistic and benevolent organization. He also co-founded Stand in the Gap, a nonprofit organization that trains churches to equip their members to help needy individuals experience significant long-term life change.
 

Doug has been married for 38 years to his wife, Jill. He has three sons, two of whom are married, and the last is a student at Baylor University. The Fears' also have three granddaughters.

Doug has an undergraduate degree in finance from Oklahoma University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Doug and his family has attended Christian Chapel for 22 years.
